In the busyness of life, we often lose touch with the simple act of being. This retreat offers you six hours of silence and intentional practice to reconnect with your inner self. Free from obligations and distractions, you'll have the space to listen deeply to your body, mind, and spirit—no expectations, no striving, just being.

Through yoga, meditation, and other mindful practices, you’ll cultivate presence, nurture stillness, and discover the beauty in each unfolding moment.

Silence as a Teacher

The power of silence will allow you to go beyond surface-level thoughts, conserving energy and helping you connect with a deeper sense of peace and wholeness. While we hold sacred silence to fully immerse in inner listening, Mariska will gently guide each practice, sharing insights and wisdom that enrich your experience. This Structured yet spacious approach allows you to tune in to your body and inner wisdom, free from the noise of external demands.​​​​​​

My day retreat experience -

I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the most incredible day retreat experience you provided. It truly was a day of rejuvenation and self-discovery that I will cherish forever.

From the moment I arrived at the tranquil space overlooking the lush greenery, trees, and birdsong, I knew I was in for something special. The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, offering me the perfect sanctuary to pause, reflect, and simply be. As someone who is constantly giving and coaching others, this retreat was an invaluable opportunity for me to focus on my own well-being and reconnect with myself.

The entire experience was nothing short of magical. The plant-based food was not only delicious but nourishing to both body and soul. The yoga sessions, meditations, and meaningful conversations throughout the day were profoundly transformative. Each moment allowed me to delve deeper into my innermost thoughts and feelings, guiding me towards a greater understanding of my own precious space within.

As I walked out from the retreat, filled with a sense of peace and clarity, I couldn't help but smile at the words of one of the other attendees: "Oh, we are out of our cocoon." In that moment, I realized just how much I had grown and how eager I was to continue this journey of self-exploration. I'm already eagerly anticipating the next retreat and have marked my calendar accordingly.

My day retreat experience -

I found your energy gorgeous to be around and felt welcomed into your space, which was inviting and serene.
I enjoyed the talks, the breath work and yin work the most. As well as the lovely lunch and having time to chat with the fellow participants.
During the retreat I felt supported and relaxed as there was nothing that I felt was unmanageable. After I felt a sense of serenity and sense of being grounded that continued for several days.
The breath work was the most transformative for me as I have been focusing on my breathing ever since and have been feeling a lightness and joy ever since.
I just lean into activities that spark joy for me this week, it’s been wonderful.

I am so grateful for the experience you offered, and look forward to another session before too long.

My day retreat experience -


So firstly I immediately felt comfortable from your pre retreat communications and especially your warm welcome on the day.
I am not an experienced yogi by any means and I did wonder if the ‘whole day’ would be too much.
Result - I could have stayed longer! It was a beautiful experience, it was therapeutic, it was rejuvenating and I met some wonderful

people, including you Mariska!
PS - I was sore the next day - good sore!
Lunch was included and it was a vegetarian menu. I dug in to find that it was the most delicious offering I’ve experienced in ages. The flavours!
The location was also very tranquil and peaceful looking out into that gorgeous view x
Would I do this again - absolutely. Would I recommend attending any of Mariska’s classes, retreats etc - absolutely
