WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY:

In consideration of being permitted to participate in yoga classes at Mariska’s Yoga Plus, I acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

Assumption of Risk: I am aware that participation in yoga involves certain risks, including but not limited to physical injury. I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages, known or unknown, which I might incur as a result of participating in the program.
Health and Safety: I acknowledge the importance of listening to my body and agree to discontinue any activity if I experience pain or discomfort. I will seek guidance from the instructor and, if necessary, medical professionals.
Medical Considerations: I understand that yoga is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis, or treatment. Yoga is not safe under certain medical conditions, and I affirm that I alone am responsible for deciding whether to practice yoga. I hereby confirm that I have either consulted a physician about my participation in the yoga classes or that I accept the risks of not having done so.
Release of Liability: I hereby irrevocably release and waive any claims that I have now or hereafter against Mariska’s Yoga Plus, its instructors, employees, agents, and the hosting facility for any injury, death, or damages that I may sustain as a result of my participation in the program.
Emergency Medical Treatment: In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize Mariska’s Yoga Plus to secure emergency medical care or transportation (i.e., EMS) and agree to be responsible for any expenses incurred.
Personal Belongings: I acknowledge that Mariska’s Yoga Plus is not responsible for any personal belongings that are lost or stolen at the yoga classes.
Photography/Video Release: I grant Mariska’s Yoga Plus the right to photograph/video my participation in yoga classes, retreats, and workshops and to use these photographs/videos for promotional purposes. If I prefer not to be photographed or recorded, I agree to notify Mariska’s Yoga Plus directly before participating in any class, retreat, or workshop to ensure my preferences are respected.
Governing Law: This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of QLD/Australia.

Acknowledgement: I have read this waiver and release of liability, fully understand its terms, and understand that I am giving up substantial rights, including my right to sue. I acknowledge that I am signing the agreement freely and voluntarily, and intend by my signature to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.
